Portals

Dr Portal

The Dr Portal is where doctors will research iSIMLab’s Library for available cancer type simulators.

An oncologist with a cancer patient will

  • notify the patient of iSIMLab’s feature that reads a patient’s EHR, electronic health records
    • Creating a human body simulator
    • Cloning that simulator
    • Running a different drug protocol on each clone and
    • at the end of the simulation run a Prognosis module will create a comparison matrix of the 5 year survival rate and quality of life mathematical probabilities of each clone
  • upon patients approval to use iSIMLab’s simulators
    • the patient eSigns an iSIMLab HIPPA document notifying them that the patients EMR uploaded to iSIMLab are stripped of all personal data and replaced with an anonymous subjectID known only to the doctor
  • schedule the run of these simulations
  • print out the simulation run results for discussion with the patient and
  • later the oncologist will record to iSIMLab the results of the patients real world choices increasing the accuracy of the prediction algorithms

Research Portal

The iSIMLab’s Research Portal is where human body simulators are built, tested and successful projects are stored in the iSIMLab Library.

Copy Project Feature

Normally a researcher will copy an existing iSIMLab Library project and edit that project customizing the simulator for a specific area of research.

Sandbox

When a researcher copies a project iSIMLab creates a separate copy of the project into the researchers sandbox area and any edits only apply for that copy. If this project proves successful it can be checked into the iSIMLab Library and made available to other researchers.

Data Mining Portal

The iSIMLab Data Mining Portal is where doctors, oncologists, and researchers can query iSIMLab’s Run Results Library and produce reports.

These reports shall be used to

  • identify statistical trends and drive future research
  • improve the accuracy of iSIMLab over time
  • notify Dr and patients of the latest predictive statistics and
