Imagine
Imagine the language of the scientific community.
Would
- it be the mighty equation?
- the ultimate super computer program talk in the language of equations?

Imagine adding equations from around the world to build very large complex systems in hours instead of years.
- A framework would need to be created to implement such an idea

iSIMLab
iSIMLab built such a framework in its goal of quickly building human body simulators to predict cancer patients
- 5 year cancer survival rates and
- QOL Quality of Life
iSIMLab’s framework
iSIMLab’s framework allows
Researchers
- to upload their cancer progression/treatment effectiveness equations to the iSIMLab library
- can collaborate with other researchers by checking out their colleagues equations from the iSIMLab library
- can build custom cancer projects such as in the area of Lung cancer
- after appropriate testing can release results
Doctors
- can login to iSIMLab and look up the available cancer simulators eg. Lung cancer
- can match a patients cancer profile to an iSIMLab project
- can upload the cancer patients EHR to create a specific simulated Subject
- to meet HIPPA requirements the patient’s EHR is stripped of personal data and becomes an anonymous SubjectID known only to the doctor
- can schedule a run of this Subject … where the project will
- create a simulator
- clone the simulator, running a different drug protocol on each clone
- run a Prognosis module which compares the results of each clone
- and publishes a matrix comparing the 5 yr survival rate and Quality of Life for each clone
- will share the results with the patient as an additional data point in choosing a treatment option
