Gods Owners Manual
As designers and implementers of complex hardware and software computer systems one of our challenges is to come up with a succinct way to convey our ideas to the audience.
For DOD military documentation we were instructed to write the details to a 6th grade educational level.
Our complex ideas, designs and implementations are described with
- an overall general concept view and rules and then
- a list of exceptions that break these rules
God’s owners manual the Bible is pure truth and as such can NOT be written in such a manner.
The Bible
- is written by Jewish men inspired by God
- is written for all levels of understanding
- is always truth
From our intellectual perspective The Bible is a very hard read. How can anyone understand it if we as technical savvy individuals can NOT. The answer of course is belief.
Our belief in God’s word the Bible leads us to the following:
- God is the ONE all powerful unending entity in the Universe
- made from pure energy that we do not and might not be able to fully comprehend
- God is and has created all there is
- God is pure truth, goodness
- God in his desire to share created
- the Angels
- the physical universe and Man upon the Earth
- Gods presence was on the Earth along with Man
- Man was made in a pure state of agelessness
- Man was given the freedom of choice
- God creates covenants
- God gave Man, Adam and Eve one simple law and when that law was broken
- God removed his direct presence on the Earth
- God changed the physical laws of life and man began to age
- Man was left to survive on his own upon the Earth
- the tree of the knowledge of good and evil released the fallen angels upon Man
- all men are marked by this betrayal
- God has destroyed Man twice: the great Flood and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah
- God is his desire to return man to his grace
- chooses the Jewish people to accomplish this task
- chooses to communicates through Jesus & the Holy Spirit to inspire Man to pen the Bible
- decides that Man needs an even greater sacrifice on his part
- he sends his only Son Jesus Christ born a Jew to give Man a path to his grace
- God knows it will be his chosen people the Jews who
- will be responsible for Jesus’s death and
- will reject Jesus as the Messiah
- Gods shows his greatness in his forgiveness of these transgressions
- God explains his great sacrifice in asking his only son to do this task
- in the story of Abraham and Issac and
- at the Last Supper where Jesus asks God : Please take this cup from me
- Jesus knows the sacrifice of physical & emotional pain that God is asking for
- God knows the physical & emotional pain he is asking of his son
- God knows in the end
- The avarice and the hatred of freedom of a small number of men in power aided by the fallen angels will lead to the Jewish nation’s cry out to him for help and in doing so he will end Mans reign upon the Earth
- BUT until then God will listen to Mans prayers and actively participate
- God’s answers in seeing all things can appear a great mystery to Man
- BUT until then God will listen to Mans prayers and actively participate
- The avarice and the hatred of freedom of a small number of men in power aided by the fallen angels will lead to the Jewish nation’s cry out to him for help and in doing so he will end Mans reign upon the Earth
So the theme of the Bible is forgiveness
- God created perfection and expects it in return
- but Man broke that perfect covenant so
- God in his greatness sent us the Bible as the owners manual explaining
- Jesus
- confirmed the Old testament and
- through his perfect life and death God gives us a path to his forgiveness
- Jesus forgave his executioners and said:
- “I am the resurrection and the life.
- Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,”
- “I am the way and the truth and the life.
- No one comes to the Father except through me.”
- “I am the resurrection and the life.
- Jesus
- God gives us a path to his forgiveness but Man is required to believe in Jesus Christ as the Messiah to be granted that grace
Of special note
Jesus after the Last Suppers asks God to take this cup from me and
- God does not answer as he has already made his will clear
God
- has the power to command and force Man to his will and does NOT use it
- God allows Man the free will of choosing or NOT choosing his teachings
The Bible talks of Gods power and the rewards of his kingdom beyond the riches of this world. These are the words of a creator who has more power than the physical world we touch and see verifying he is the One creator.
